DXY Ultrafine raw material grinding equipment


Ultrafine grinding technology is an advanced version of traditional grinding, capable of crushing materials down to the micron level, thereby significantly altering their physical and chemical properties. The DXY series ultrafine grinder can efficiently grind grain, oilseeds, meat and bone meal, fishmeal, animal feed, and more, and we can offer customized solutions to meet specific customer requirements.

ØProductivity:

From approximately 300 kg/h to 5 tons/h. Actual productivity depends on the raw material and grinding particle size.

Popular models: RXT40-37, RXT75, RXT90, RXT110, RXT110-132, etc.


ØGrind size:

Can be up to 0.05-0.08 mm. Moisture, grain size, fat content, etc. affect the actual grinding results.

 

ØApplications and advantages of ultra-fine shredders for various materials:

1. Cereals (corn, wheat, soybean meal, etc.):

1) Application: Production of high-quality infant rice cereals, nutritional powders, baking mixes, brewing ingredients, etc.

2) Advantages:

-Improved utilization: disruption of cell walls facilitates the hydrolysis of starch and protein by enzymes, increasing product yield in the fermentation industry;

-Improved texture: fine powder, smooth and pleasant texture, good taste;

-Improved functional properties: significantly improved solubility, dispersibility, water retention, and gelling properties.


2. Fishmeal, meat meal, bone meal:

1) Application: High-quality aquaculture feeds (especially shrimp feed and fish starter feeds), pet food, and specialized animal feeds.

2) Benefits:

- Improved digestibility and absorption: the cellular structure of the raw material is disrupted, facilitating the absorption of proteins, fats, and minerals by animals (especially young animals with weak digestive systems);

- Production of high-quality fine feed pellets: the finer raw material powder can be mixed more uniformly and pass through smaller die openings, forming small pellets suitable for small animals;

- Increased feed stability in water: the ultra-fine powder promotes feed binding, reducing feed breakdown and nutrient loss in water.

 

3. Dry animal feed:

Twin-screw extruders are widely used in the production of fish, cat, dog, and other animal feed. The shape and size of the feed pellets are adjusted by changing the die. Typically, the minimum die opening size is approximately 0.6mm; smaller openings easily clog with raw material. For customers wanting to produce pellets smaller than 0.6 mm, the DXY series ultra-fine grinder is a good option. It can grind large pellet particles to the desired fine size.

ØDescription of the main structure of the crusher:

The ultra-fine crusher consists of the following parts: frame, main shaft, grinding chamber, main shaft drive mechanism, stage drive mechanism, air system, blower, fan, cyclone separator, pulse dust collector with bag filters, etc. The stage motor is equipped with a frequency converter, which provides stepless speed regulation. The crushing chamber contains crushing discs, hammer blocks, a gear ring, and a guide reel. The stage assembly consists of a stage impeller, shaft, raw material outlet, etc. The motor drives the crushing main shaft via a V-belt, causing the crushing disc to rotate. The stage assembly is located above the crushing chamber, and the upper stage motor drives the impeller. The outlet of the stage assembly is connected to the cyclone separator, blower, high-pressure fan, and dust collector.


ØOperating principle:

Basic principle - Using high-speed rotating hammers, toothed discs, or high-speed collisions, shear, and friction between materials, it is possible to achieve fragmentation of materials at the cellular level in a very short time.

 

The raw material enters the crushing chamber due to the high-speed rotation of the crushing disc. Under the action of centrifugal force, the material is crushed in the crushing chamber by a hammer block mounted on the crushing disc and rotates toward the surrounding toothed ring for further collision crushing. As the particle size decreases, the drift coefficient decreases, and the material is transported by an air flow from under the crushing disc, driven by a forced-draft fan, to the screening mechanism for subsequent sorting. Under the combined action of aerodynamic force and the centrifugal force of the impeller, the separated coarse-grained powdered material descends from the inner cavity of the guide ring into the crushing chamber for further crushing. Fine particles (finished products), smaller than the critical diameter, are drawn into the screening impeller and sent through a discharge opening to the collection system. Thus, the raw material is continuously fed into the crushing section for crushing, and the screening impeller rotates continuously to separate the particles. After crushing the appropriate quality particles and suction by the exhaust fan, the raw material is continuously ground to the required particle size. The fineness of the grinding can be adjusted by varying the rotation speed of the stepped impeller and the air volume in the fan.
